International School Childcare Centre 

The International School Childcare Centre (ISCC) which was opened in October 2011 caters for the needs of the youngest international community members.

Groups

ISCC offers day care places for children age 3 months – 3 years in vertical (age-mixed) groups. The average group size ise 8-10 children, with a maximum of 4 babies per group. Because of the fixed daily routine only full day places are offered.

Opening times

ISCC is open 250 days a year, except on public holidays, the Friday after Ascension Day and from 24^th December to 2^nd January. The daily opening hours are from 7:45 until 18:00.

Location

ISCC is located in the historic Logierhaus on the International School Campus (Mühlentalstrasse 280, SH) close to the Early Years department of ISSH. The childcare centre comprises of two group rooms, of which one is specially fitted out for babies, a separate sleeping room, a kitchenette and its own sanitary facilities. ISCC shares a beautiful playground with the early years classes. The playground is specially equiped for young children and encourages them to play and discover in a safe and secure environment.

ISCC Management and Team

ISCC is part of the International School of Schaffhausen AG and led by the school management team.

Linda Papandrafilli is the head of ISCC and the group teacher of the 1^st group.

Applications

Interested parents are kindly invited to make an appointment through the ISSH office to come and visit the childcare centre. To secure a place the application form must be completed and sent to the school administration. Places will be confirmed on a first in first served base. Since places are limited there is a waiting list, but alternative days may be offered. A confirmation of your place in the ISCC will be sent to you, together with an invoice for the enrolment fee of 150 CHF. Once this enrolment fee has been received your child’s place is secured.
