Message To Our Graduating Class
Dearest Students,
As you sit your final exams, please know that the entire ISSH community is thinking of you and cheering you on. We are incredibly proud of how far you have come and all that you have accomplished.
We understand that these final weeks bring a mix of emotions. The pressure of exams, uncertainty about next steps, and the weight of expectations can feel overwhelming. It is natural to feel nervous or anxious. But what matters most right now is not perfection: it is perseverance. Show up, do your best, and remember: one exam or one grade does not define you.
Some of you walked through the doors of ISSH many years ago; you have grown up within these walls and known no other school. Others joined us more recently, bringing new perspectives, energy, and stories. Regardless of when your journey here began, each of you has become an integral part of our school’s story woven into its spirit, its culture, and its very DNA.
Together, you have grown, learned, laughed, and faced challenges. You have supported one another, celebrated both big and small successes, and built a sense of community that is uniquely yours. It has been a true privilege to support and contribute to your growth throughout this journey. Thank you for the light, laughter, and life you have brought to ISSH. And yes, your epic prank will not be forgotten!!
Each of you has reached this moment by following your own unique journey. Some of you have already mapped out your next steps, from exciting gap year plans to offers from leading universities around the world, including Harvard. Others are still exploring possibilities. Many of you have faced challenges that demanded strength and resilience. Every experience has shaped who you are and brought you here today.
As you take your next steps, we hope you carry not just academic knowledge, but the values that define our community: empathy, integrity, curiosity, and the courage to engage thoughtfully with the world. Keep asking questions. Keep learning. And keep holding on to your dreams – even when they feel uncertain.
Graduation is not the end, on the contrary, it marks the beginning of a new chapter. A chapter where you will continue to grow, evolve, and find your place in the world. And while your time at ISSH as students may be coming to a close, you will always remain part of our community. We look forward to welcoming you back as alumni, hearing your stories, and celebrating your continued growth.
You’ve come far – keep going.
You’ve got this!
On behalf of all teachers at ISSH
