Junior College
Diploma Programme

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12 is a 2-year course. Successful students gain a globally recognised university entrance diploma (IB Diploma = Abitur / Matura) and are welcome applicants at leading universities such as Cambridge and Harvard. Universities around the world value not only the technical qualifications but also the core competencies required in addition to the subjects, which prepare our graduates for successful studies and for an active, creative role within our society.

Grades 11 and 12

The IB Diploma grants students access to universities in 141 countries, including Switzerland and Germany. The IB organization has agreed special framework conditions with individual countries for the recognition of the Diploma, such as the choice of certain combinations of subjects and the achievement of a certain number of points. Information on these country-specific requirements can be found  here.

All IB World Schools follow the same curriculum and therefore have the same final assessment. This makes it possible for students to move from one IB school to another, ensuring continuity of their education in terms of content, teaching methods and examination.
