Together Through Every Chapter: Honouring Teachers and Graduates

It was a time of reflection and recognition as we celebrated our committed staff and honoured the milestones of our graduating class.

Celebrating Our Educators: Teacher Appreciation Day

At the end of March, the ISSH community came together to mark Teacher Appreciation Day, a heartfelt celebration organised by our Parents’ Association (PA) to honour the dedication of our teaching and support staff.

To show their gratitude, the PA hosted a beautifully arranged English afternoon tea. Thanks to generous fundraising and the support of our families, staff enjoyed a thoughtful spread of sweet and savoury treats, from freshly baked scones to cakes and sandwiches, all served with tea and coffee.

More than just a lovely gesture, it was a meaningful opportunity to pause, connect, and reflect on the impact our educators make every day. A huge thank you to the PA for making our team feel seen, supported, and appreciated.

A New Tradition: Sending Off Our Graduating Students

Just before the spring break, ISSH launched a new tradition to honour our Grade 12 Diploma Programme students as they prepare to take their next steps.

During a special all-school assembly, Primary and Secondary students gathered to celebrate our graduates. The Head of School and DP Coordinator gave heartfelt speeches, reflecting on the students’ growth, accomplishments, and lasting contributions to the school.

The assembly concluded with a joyful send-off: students lined the halls to cheer on the graduates as they made their way to a farewell picnic; a moment of pride and community spirit. Adding a personal touch, Grade 11 students gifted a handmade Leavers Book filled with memories and well-wishes.

Now, our graduates have entered the final stage of their ISSH journey, as they begin their IB Diploma exams, a time to demonstrate all they’ve learned and achieved.

Together, these events remind us of the strong bonds and shared milestones that make ISSH a truly connected and caring community.
