We are pleased to welcome Roel De Meester to the Board of Directors of the International School of Schaffhausen.

Roel De Meester brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, having held a series of regional and global senior executive roles.

Most recently, he served as Vice President, Head of R&D Quality at Johnson & Johnson. Roel played a central role in the development and implementation of Johnson & Johnson’s global supply chain quality strategy, serving as a member of the Global Pharmaceutical Quality Board and the Global Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Board. His extensive experience in corporate governance, quality assurance, and operational excellence adds significant strength to the ISSH Foundation Board.

Now in early retirement, Roel remains committed to meaningful engagement within the community. He has a strong personal connection to ISSH: both of his sons completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at our school.

Roel’s deep understanding of strategic governance, paired with his international outlook and dedication to education, make him a valuable addition to our Board of Directors. We are honoured to benefit from his expertise and passion as we continue to shape the future of learning at ISSH.
