Our primary school for children aged 6–11 (Grades 1–5) follows the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), fostering inquiry-based learning with curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. We create a joyful and challenging environment that supports academic and social growth.

OUR CURRICULUM

The PYP is an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum for children aged 3-11, focusing on conceptual understanding and student agency.It fosters international mindedness and encourages children to take meaningful action. It is routed in the latest educational research, students take ownership of their learning. 

Students engage with real-world challenges, develop critical skills, and embody the IB Learner Profile, preparing them for meaningful contributions to their communities.

The curriculum addresses six  transdisciplinary themes through language, mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts and Physical, Social and personal education. The PYP at ISSH fosters global perspectives, critical thinking and broad knowledge.
