Parents’ Association

Parents’ Association of the ISSH

The Parents’ Association Committee (PA) is a volunteer-driven organisation, acting as an intermediary between ISSH parents, ISSH school and the board. The organisation is directed by an executive committee composed of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Class Parent Coordinator. The PA supports the school in all matters concerning the welfare of the children and acts as a voice expressing the needs and interests of the parent body. Towards this mission the PA: recruits volunteers, welcomes new families, supports student events, organises social events for parents and students, and provides a forum of communication between the parent community, board of directors and school administration.

You can contact the PA at: pa@issh.ch

Where can you find out what’s coming up?

You can read all about it in the school’s bulletin. The PA has its own section at the end, so please scroll all the way down and get informed! We will also send out information via the Learning Platforms used by the school and will send links to a sign up form to volunteer for our different events. And we do need your help to make this work! Volunteering is a great way to stay connected to our school, and to meet new people.

Here is a small guide the PA prepared for new families moving to Schaffhausen. The information in this link is collected from the local community and we advise parents to double check since some of the guidelines mentioned here are subject to changes quite often by the cantonal authorities.
