Early Years

Play based learning
Research shows that children learn best from experiences that are joyful, that meaningfully connect the play to their lives, actively engaging, allow testing things iteratively and are socially interactive. At ISCC and ELC we work with a play based environment to offer the children a variety of learning experience, based on our observations and their interests. Letting children be part of choosing new projects is one of our main keys in teaching.

Primary

And so a new school year starts….
The school year in Primary has been off to a great start! Our students returned from their summer vacations full of enthusiasm and excitement to see their old and new friends, to meet their teachers and to dive into this year’s learning. They have also been reflecting on social skills we all need to use when in a community, to ensure that our school mission statement of providing a nurturing and inclusive environment is enhanced through our intercultural understanding and respect. Parents have started the school year along with their children as well, by joining them on the first morning to school, and being a part of the parent evenings. Taking part in such events reinforces the importance of students, parents and teachers walking together on this learning journey.
Looking forward to seeing you on our coffee morning on September 27.

Middle School

We are delighted to be back!
It is truly heartwarming to witness everyone’s return to school, brimming with enthusiasm to reconnect with friends and teachers. Students have been assigned to their new classes, and parents have had the opportunity to meet with school principals. The new year has kicked off on a positive note, and we’re eagerly anticipating the upcoming weeks with all the excitement they hold.

High School

Diploma Programme
The year barely started and we are already in full swing in the IB Diploma programme. Students are slowly getting used to the demands and challenges of the programme. It is so nice to see all students and teachers being enthusiastic about the learning opportunities we offer and we all are looking forward to another fruitful year of teaching and learning. Welcome to the school year 23/24!
