The inspiration behind our Family Hub
Hi, I'm Cathy!
I’m an Early years specialist and qualified teacher with over 18 years of experience. After teaching in England, I moved to Schaffhausen 11 years ago and have since worked with students of all ages at the International School of Schaffhausen.
When my son was born in 2017, I realised there were few international playgroups in the area. Together with a few mums, we started one. It grew quickly, and the idea for a community space followed. That’s how the Family Hub began.
Today, we run weekly sessions that continue to bring local and international families together, creating a warm and supportive space for everyone.
