Our main building, the Logierhaus, is a landmark rich in history and character. Surrounded by forest, it houses our welcoming Early Learning Centre, Primary School classrooms, one of our two school libraries, and the school's lunch hall. This thoughtfully designed space blends timeless architecture with modern learning environments, creating a warm, nurturing atmosphere where our youngest learners can grow, explore, and feel at home.

A new era for secondary learning

Just steps away, on the same campus, our secondary school building is a hub of innovation and forward-thinking education. Designed to meet the needs of 21st-century learners, it features bright, adaptable learning spaces, a well-equipped secondary library, state-of-the-art- science laboratories for hands-on experimentation and discovery and collaborative spaces to foster creativity, communication, and inquiry.

Learning beyond the classroom

Right beside the school grounds, students of all ages can connect with nature in our very own Waldsofa, a forest-based outdoor learning space. Whether it's through imaginative play, environmental discovery, or simply breathing in the fresh air, this space encourages curiosity and a deeper appreciation of the natural world.

Sport, well-being & play

Physical activity and a balanced lifestyle are an integral part of life at ISSH. Our campus facilities support both structured sport and joyful play, including; a modern gymnasium for indoor sports and events, an outdoor soccer pitch and basketball court for active play and training and a dedicated play areas for ELC and Primary students that promote joyful, safe exploration.

A home away from home

Boarding at ISSH offers a small, family-style experience where students feel at home. Just a short walk from the school, our two cosy boarding houses provide a safe and caring environment for up to 25 students, encouraging independence, nurturing meaningful friendships, and creating a real sense of belonging within our international community.
