Diploma pathways at ISSH
A flexible and rigorous curriculum for every aspiration
We believe in offering a personalised, flexible approach to education that recognises and nurtures each student’s strengths, passions, and future goals. Whether pursuing the full IB Diploma Programme (DP), selecting individual DP Courses, or opting for the ISSH High School Diploma (HSD) accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA), students are empowered to shape a learning journey that prepares them for life beyond school, at university and in the world.
IB Diploma Programme (IB DP)
At ISSH, the IB Diploma Programme challenges students academically while allowing them to explore subjects aligned with their passions and strengths. Over two years, they engage with six subject groups alongside core elements, becoming confident, well-rounded, and globally minded learners. Small class sizes ensure personalised guidance, helping each student develop independence, explore their interests, and thrive.
Our close-knit community inspires and challenges students, balancing academic rigor with personal growth to foster critical thinking, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose. This supportive environment consistently produces outstanding results, with a 100% IB pass rate over the past ten years and around one-third of graduates studying at top 100 universities worldwide.
The Diploma Programme at ISSH is a personalised experience that empowers students to discover their strengths, follow their passions, and prepare for the future with confidence.

ISSH High School Diploma (HSD)
In addition to the full IB Diploma Programme, students at ISSH have the option to pursue the ISSH High School Diploma (HSD), a flexible, academically rigorous qualification accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA). The HSD pathway is particularly well-suited for students aiming to continue their studies in fields such as applied sciences or those planning to enter foundation programmes in the UK, non-selective universities in the USA, or higher education institutions across Europe. Depending on the university and country, SATs or other standardised assessments may be required as part of the admissions process.
What sets the ISSH HSD apart is its customisable structure. Students may combine selected International Baccalaureate (IB) courses with the diploma requirements, allowing them to shape an educational experience aligned with their personal interests, academic strengths, and future goals. This flexibility ensures that students graduate with a qualification that not only meets international standards but also supports their individual learning journey and university aspirations.
