Celebrating 8 Years of Connection: The Family Hub Relaunch!
Time flies when you’re building a community! As we approach the 8th birthday of our beloved playgroup, we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than by officially relaunching our weekly groups. Since our journey began, over 50 families have joined through the playgroup. It has truly become a heart of connection for all of us.
The Family Hub is a place where milestones are shared and friendships are forged. Whether you have a newborn, a child in Kindergarten or a child preparing for the Diploma, we have designed a space specifically for your family’s journey:
- Baby Club: Those first years are a whirlwind where every day is a new learning experience. This group is a gentle space for our littlest ones to explore and for parents to navigate those early stages together.
- Playgroup: A vibrant space for children to meet their first friends and for parents to swap stories, advice, and experiences over the joy of play.
- Stories and Sounds: Specifically for our Kindergartners, this group brings children together to dive into the magic of storytelling, fostering a love for rhythm, rhyme, and imagination.
- Coffee and Conversations: A dedicated time for parents to pause, grab a drink, and gear up for the week ahead in a supportive, friendly environment.
Learning and Growing Together
At ISSH, we believe that protecting our students in this space is a shared journey between school and home. To bridge this gap, we recently hosted an interactive workshop in our Family Hub. The session focused on the robust safety measures the school has integrated into our curriculum and network, alongside practical, actionable tips for parents to implement at home.
The goal wasn't just to talk about restrictions, but to empower our children to be responsible, savvy digital citizens. However, we know that one session is just the beginning of the conversation.
We Want Your Input!
Whether you were able to join us in person or missed this session, we want to hear from you. We are currently planning a series of follow-up workshops and want to ensure the content meets your specific needs and concerns.
How can we best support you?
Please take a moment to complete our feedback form. Your input helps us understand which topics (such as screen time management, parental controls) you would like us to dive into next.
